This chocolate bar is made with cacao from Ucayali, Peru in the Amazon Rainforest. The Ucayali River Cacao Cooperative works with about 400 small farmers. Their goal is to produce quality cacao while helping local farmers earn a legitimate income rather than returning to coca (cocaine) production. The tropical forests of Ucayali offer a vast biodiversity with flora and fauna yet to be discovered.
Store in a cool dry area. Chocolate is best consumed around 70°F (21°C).
