Honoli’i Orchards is a long standing collaboration between Mānoa Chocolate and Colin Hart. Colin is an agricultural specialist with a masters degree in cacao from the University of Hawai‘i. Since 2019, we’ve worked with Colin to establish seven acres of cacao on his family farm.

Nestled on the eastern slopes of the tallest Hawaiian volcano, Mauna Kea, this region is comprised of abundant rainfall, deep volcanic soil, and a dynamic terrain carved out by the Honoli‘i Stream.

All of our chocolate is crafted from bean-to-bar at our chocolate factory in Kailua, Oʻahu.

We're buying cacao direct from the farmer. This allows us to establish long lasting relationships based on trust and quality. By cutting out intermediaries we can also pay our farmers higher prices for their crop.
